Thank you to Blisse Kiss for hosting Sunday Snog.
I’m sharing a kiss from my latest book, Touched, due out on the 21st November – not the first between Adam and Tania but he needs a boost for his confidence. He’s about to share a secret.
Being anxious was an unfamiliar emotion for Adam. It ate at his confidence and he hated the sensation of uncertainty. Would she run away if he unlocked the basement door and saw what he kept down there? Would she understand or see him as a freak?
Tania was talking to him and he hadn’t been listening. “Sorry, what did you say?”
“What now?” she asked, folding away the tea towel.
It was necessary to take her hand, to feel the pulse in it and sense her excitement. It was tangible. She clearly wanted him as much as he did her. She ran her tongue around her lips, tracing the glossy outline then darted it back in again. An invitation to touch her and he couldn’t resist. She parted her lips and he took her in his embrace. Her mouth tasted of cinnamon from the apple turnover and a trace of tomato, too. Standing in the middle of his kitchen, they kissed like teenagers—racy, frantic and wet. He let his hands wander into her hair and he tugged her head back from his mouth.
“Not here. We’ve done kitchens,” he said with a smile.
“Actually,”—he tried not to stammer—“I wanted to show you my special room.”
“Ooh,” Tania said with a swish of her hips. “Do tell.”
Touched in ways she never thought possible, Tania meets a man who will take her completely.
Tania Havers has no time for sex, never mind romance or boyfriends. Life as an investment analyst in the City of London gives her plenty of stress and competition from equally ambitious work colleagues.
On the advice of a friend, Tania tries out something different—tantric massages. Meeting Adam, an erotic masseur with hands that send her into sensual oblivion, she begins a covert affair, one that takes them out of the massage parlour, into a hotel room, then to her apartment and finally his basement, where Adam shows Tania his secret passion—one he wishes to explore with her.
While their erotic pastimes bring relief, Tania’s career intrudes on their relationship. Driven by ambition, she will deal with obstacles as she sees fit. Adam is about to find out whether Tania has room in her life—and in her heart—for him or whether she will sacrifice their love to save her career.

Great snippet Jaye, I could feel his apprehension. Love the description of the kiss and her taste!
Thanks Roz 🙂
Hi Jaye, I loved that kiss in the kitchen. Our kitchen is one of my favourite places to do that, too! Well, any place is…
Poor Adam, he really must have been tense in this moment, not knowing Tania’s reactions. Exciting! It makes me curious for more. My TBR list is growing again. 🙂
He is quite apprehensive!
