Hi Jaye, this is a lovely moment, but I think Daniel is pretty tempted by Hester and either they marry immediately or he should take a long cold shower. 🙂 They are meant for each other and they know this too, but the civil war makes things rather difficult. I haven’t read the book yet (but it is on my kindle) so, I can only hope that he will not take advantage of her vulnerability. Well, I don’t consider Daniel would, but cannot be sure either.
