The first day of April and Anna is no April fool. She’s learning all about the balance between pleasure and pain. Here’s a snippet from Captivated – a captivity story like no other.
He rose, bundled her loose strands of hair into his fist, and tilted her head back. Anna stared directly into the dark pools of his eyes. Something glinted in his irises and a few smile lines formed in the corner of the lids. Her scalp tingled as he drew her head back further.
As he leaned over her, twisting one of her arms behind her back, her breasts flattened against his hard chest wall. He breathed rapidly, sending his warm exhales across her neck and down her cleavage. When his lips brushed her neck, she rose up on tiptoes. The edges of his teeth grazed her exposed skin and he sucked hard, making her wince at the sharpness.
Heavens—a glorious sensation of pain and pleasure neatly centered in one location.
“Brats get punished,” he whispered into her ear in a husky way that accentuated the words. “Agreed?”
“Yes, sir,” she replied firmly. “They do.”
Waking up in an unfamiliar bed in a room she doesn’t recognize is disturbing enough, but Anna Hadley becomes truly alarmed when she looks into the mirror and sees the face of another woman staring back at her.
Her confusion intensifies when a man—who apparently believes she is his wife—suddenly knocks on the door and scolds her for spending so much time by herself in the bedroom. To top it all off, it quickly becomes clear that the man has some very specific, very old-fashioned ideas regarding the proper way a husband should deal with a disobedient bride.
In spite of everything, the threat of having her bottom bared for a sound spanking arouses Anna deeply, and even as she searches for clues that might explain what happened to her, she cannot help becoming more and more attracted to her supposed husband.
It isn’t long before she earns herself a punishment, and when he reddens her backside and then takes her hard and thoroughly she is left spent and satisfied. But knowing she could find herself back in her own body at any moment, can she dare to fall in love?
Publisher’s Note: Captivated includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

“I loved this clever, spicy read. Jaye Peaches manages to spin a tale of mystery and intrigue, while at the same time pulling the reader in with a tale of fantasies brought to life, and new beginnings. When Anna found herself trapped in a stranger’s body, under contract to submit to her new husband, my heart pounded right along with hers. Sensuous and passionate, Captivated is a truly outstanding contribution to the genre.” ~ Jane Henry, bestselling author of the Boston Doms
Captivating is exactly what this book delivers. It’s spell binding and takes the reader on a journey along with the characters.
I did not anticipate such a unique storyline. Imagine waking up in someone else’s body, in a house that was not yours and a husband demanding your obedience. Anna Hadley is living this nightmare. Anna’ sex life is a disappointment, she has tried to add kink to her marriage to Darren. She now is given the chance to live her dream but at what expense. This book has elements of BDSM, graphic sex scenes, mystery and danger.
Have you ever wanted to be someone else? This story is about 2 couples who are unhappy in their marriage. When Anna wakes in someone else’s home, she is unprepared for what happens next. It’s a journey of love and trust and wild wicked happenings. It was a great story from start to finish and I would definitely recommend.
This awesome book is aptly named as it captivates you weaves a spell on your heart. it kind of reminds me of the film freaky Friday except it’s definitely not Disney film. but something sure has happened to Anna when she wakes up in a different body in a different home and is married to someone else. Anna sure is unprepared what will happen next but this journey will be eye opening and captivating.
I love the body switch aspect; it was a very creative twist. I loved Anna. She is a great heroine and handles being in someone else’s body much better than I would. 🙂 I was so glad she got a happy ending.
