I’ve a new book out – To Own You, and to celebrate the first book in the series, To Know You, is on offer – for FREE!
She couldn’t look at his handsome face; it was set hard in the expression she adored—an unyielding portrayal of dominance. The soup of mixed feelings he conjured up was formidable and powerful. Humiliated but aroused. Degraded yet desired—he wanted her like this.
If you want to catch up on Jason and Gemma’s past, now is the opportunity to do so, but please hurry, the offer ends in 3 days.
Today I’m sharing a brief excerpt from To Own You. This is volume two of Trust Me, which although a series, each book is a complete story and can be read in isolation.
This is a couple whose lives are bound by their chosen lifestyle, and to complicate matters for Gemma, she is has to adapt to wealth she never imagined she would possess. It’s a big learning curve. Jason’s approach to dominance isn’t like her past relationships, so when he takes her away for a week, she has to understand what motives her submission: is it all about sex or simply him?

Abruptly, Gemma went stiff under him and he lifted his head, frowning.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“Why aren’t you fucking me, I mean proper fucking?” She shifted up onto her elbows, her eyebrows furrowed. Questions, always questions. She needed to switch off.
“I’m saving myself for this evening.” Much as she would like to know what he had planned, she knew not to ask. Jason wanted to conserve his sexual energy as he expected he would be put to the test as much as her with what was planned.
Gemma shuffled away from him.
“Babe?”
“Then I will too.” She slipped her legs off his shoulders.
“I said you could have this.”
“It just feels too one-sided. I didn’t do a good job this morning and now I feel you deserve better.”
Jason lay down next to her. “Don’t fret about it, Gem. I said I would try stuff out. Just because it didn’t work out for you doesn’t mean I’m not happy to go down on you.”
“But I’m not. Can we just cuddle?” She rolled against him.
“Sure.” He wrapped his arm around her waist. “Don’t be hard on yourself. You know I could force orgasms out of you if I wanted to.”
“I know, but my submission is my reward, not the orgasms. I like being submissive. It pleases me as much as you. So if I don’t get there, then I’m disappointed for me as well as you.” She reached out and touched his hair. “I’m such a lucky girl that you’re willing to go down on me. Other subs might have been punished.”
“Babe, I don’t punish trying. You weren’t disobedient. I’m a lucky man. You’re mine to cherish.”
For a while they lay entwined and quiet. Occasionally he would kiss or run a finger over her face or down her arm and she would reciprocate. All of their actions were sensory and subtle and neither wanted to spoil the intimacy with unnecessary words or actions.

To Know You is a fictional account of two people who begin a journey together. It is a complete story. Both characters are sexy and know what they want. Neither are novices, neither expect love in their relationship. One takes control and the other yields. In the bedroom, there are the erotic scenes of BDSM, discipline and romance. The dynamic can be intoxicating—and dangerous.
Trust is key. Communicating trust. Building trust and maintaining integrity. And love? It’s not always about love – until Gemma meets Jason.
I love when I find an author that is new to me, enjoy their book so much that I immediately search for more of their work. To Know You was certainly a very pleasant surprise for me. I have read many books on BDSM so it takes a story with something special and unique at this point, to make me this happy.
Jaye Peaches found that “it” for me with Gemma and Jason. Gemma ran from her last job after a horrid experience. It shook her whole belief system, even down to her desire for kink. Finding this job in Jason’s office was perfect. She had the talent that impressed him, she was able to make a few acquaintances and then go home to her shabby apartment and be alone. No one asked her about her past, no one demanded anything from her other production at work, but then Jason is about to change that.
After a run in at the copier, he hears that she wanted to go to a certain concert but didn’t get tickets. When at a meeting, he is witness to her ability at work, he orders her to come to his office with her computer and show him the system she was using. It is there she learns he is going to ask the questions she has been avoiding, but she also becomes aware that there is something about him that is bringing her desires back to life. When he invited her into his home he was hoping he was right in seeing that she would fit perfectly with him in the bedroom, but he had to find out what was holding her back first.
Watching Jason and Gemma navigate their way to the lair, building a Dom/Sub relationship was absolutely riveting. The author did a wonderful job at keeping the plot real to the reader, focusing on the relationship and emotions rather than depending only on the sexual acts to carry the story. I was left worrying if Gemma was going to be able to put the past behind her and learn to trust again, will she risk it all to recapture the lost part of her soul that she missed terribly.
Jason had his needs, life without dominating wasn’t something he could even dwell on not matter how many other qualities of Gemma he wanted to nurture, but if he pushed her too far, he would never gain the required trust from her to make this work. I was so invested in caring that they made it through this jungle, I forgot to keep in mind that the past has a wicked way of coming up and destroying what they were trying to create.
I loved this story, I was amazed at the style of this author and I greatly appreciated the fact that the reader is not only invited into the story but allowed to get lost among the characters and absorb the emotions created. I highly recommend this book and I will be looking for more work from this author soon.
Jason is looking for a new sub, & when he hears about Gemma, who sometimes frequents his club, he launches an elaborate scheme to meet her, & to make her his own. It’s only supposed to be fun & games, but as you might expect, it evolves into so much more. It’s pretty hot, & there are a few bumps along the way, but it has a fairly predictable HEA.
Of course, he’s rich, handsome & dominant. Of course she’s sexy, good looking & submissive, but she’s also feisty, a prerequisite personality trait in romances it seems.
However, Peaches always delivers, & this is a volcanically hot read that will keep you turning down the a/c & drinking cold drinks.
Nothing would ever stop their passion, their love for each other. No-one. No murderous man.
Married to Jason Lucas, Gemma is handling how to be the wife of a millionaire. In a moment of foolishness, she makes an error of judgement; an act she regrets and she must face the consequences that tumble on afterwards.
Jason married for love, but will he be able to give his wife the romance she desires? His passion to be her Dominant remains strong but can he find a way to meld romance and dominance? After an event leaves him worried for Gemma’s safety, he has the idea to take her to New York City. He asks her to submit to a week of escapism involving domination and submission, bondage and kinky sex. Will she agree to trust him and will she survive his style of domination for the duration?
Most importantly – will their love survive the retribution that awaits them upon their return?
Congratulations on the new release Jaye! Yay for more Jason and Gemma 🙂 Love the excerpt, they both want to give their best to each other.
Hugs
