His friend nodded in the direction of the door. “That one is pretty and looks like she’s over her head. I should go help her get comfortable.”

“Nope. Sorry, but that naughty woman is mine. She knows not to come here alone. She’s innocent in the ways of this type of club.”

“Ah, so that’s who you were waiting for. I wondered if you were going to hold up the bar all night. Well, Ken’s moving in over there, you’d better snag her fast.”

Cián finished his sparkling water and got up. Striding towards Molly, he saw one of her girlfriends trying to entice her to enter further. He’d made it to within an arm’s length of Molly when her friend, Karen, spied him. His look of disapproval stopped all words flowing from her mouth. She stared like a deer in headlights for a split second before turning on her heels and walking back to the others.

“You’ve been naughty all week, leanbh. You know how I deal with naughty.”

Cián grinned at the shiver that ran through her body and then the shocked look Molly gave him. She opened her mouth several times to speak but closed it each time.

“What is the rule about clubs like this one?” Molly dropped her head but Cián wouldn’t allow it to stay there. “You know it and I know it. You should not be here alone.”

“I’m not… well, you weren’t around, and I was asked to go.”

“Molly, you chose not to call me and ask for an escort. You’ve been out of control all week trying to get my attention because you’re irritated over the spanking. Now you have my attention and have earned another one.” His words came from deep in his chest causing it to rumble. “And if you’re honest, you’d admit at least to yourself, that you were trying to earn another one. You wanted to see if I was for real, if this was something I played at or followed through on.”

“That’s ridiculous and pretty self-centered if you ask me.”

“We’ll see. Now that you’re here, if you want me to show youaround and help you get an understanding of what playing here is like, I will.If you prefer to go back to my place, we can get the matter of your spanking out of the way.”

“I’m not going to your apartment and you aren’t spanking me.” Her indignant words ended in a whisper and ever pinkening cheeks.

“You want it here? I can promise you, no one will care.”

“Oh God Cián, please, not here.” Her face and neck were now red.
