With her career prospects on Earth in jeopardy due to a corrupt mayor’s plan to blackmail her, college student Paige Lester decides to accept Senator Jamen Hosta’s offer of a job as his assistant, even after the powerful, handsome Vendian makes it clear he will require not only that she submit to his strict correction, but that she surrender her beautiful body to him as well.
Though she is shocked by his demands, Paige is deeply aroused by Jamen’s bold dominance, and soon she is writhing in ecstasy as he takes her longer and harder than any man from Earth ever could. Upon reaching his planet, a sound spanking for disobedience during a humiliating medical exam quickly demonstrates that Paige’s new life will be very different from the one she left behind, but will she one day find a place for herself in this foreign world… and in Jamen’s heart?

Romance Reviews – Top Pick
I’ve really been enjoying this series and was happy to see that a new book is being released. In it, Paige accepts Vendu Senator, Jamen Hosta’s offer to come work for him as his assistant (hanjin) but it’s more than a working relationship (rubs hands together gleefully).
Both Vendu and Humans still have much to learn about each other as a species but Jaye Peaches sure makes it look like fun in CHOSEN BY THE SENATOR.
Likes: The offer Jamen made to her worked really well. Paige’s inner thoughts were great. The chemistry between the two of them was downright sexy in all the right (and naughty) ways. Ms. Peaches’ writing is tight and crisp and the story flow works really well with no lags. Eesp, okay, that might have been a bit too dry but suffice to say, I LIKED THE STORY! Better? Oh, and I LOVE Vendu tattoos. So, nifty.
Dislikes: At times, Paige came across as too whiny. I want to say, high-maintenance but it isn’t exactly that but sometimes I found her reactions to things to be far too over the top and it grated. At the same time, it is the mark of a good storyteller who is able to elicit those types of responses in her readers. So…there is that.
CHOSEN BY THE SENATOR is a stand-alone story in the Under Alien Law series. And while it isn’t necessary to read the other books in this series first, I highly recommend it. They’re entertaining and a wonderful way to spend the evening (and well into the night).
Amazon Reviews:
I really enjoyed this book. There is a great storyline in this book. Paige is just about to finish college when she is bribed by a corrupt politician. He wants her to get information from Jamen. This however backfires and he offers her a position on Vendu. The position is a bit of a shock but she decides to go. Paige has some difficulty adjusting to the completely different culture and surprisingly Jamen begins to change his opinion on certain issues too. This story was quite in depth and there were lots of descriptions of Vendu. Paige stuck out like a sore thumb as the only human on the planet. Jamen was there to offer advice and support as well as discipline. There were some really hot scenes in here too. Can’t wait to see if there are any more stories in this series.

Chosen by the Senator ( Under Alien Law Book 3) Is a domestic discipline intergalactic romance.
I was hooked from page one with a pure alpha males and a strong submissive woman. The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning as Paige and Jamen represent all I love in a domestic discipline romance, spicy sex and strong dominance.
This book had a suspenseful plot packed with intergalactic political intrigue and domestic discipline scenes. I found this book a very enjoyable read.

This is the 3rd book in this Under Alien Law series, which I have read as a standalone, this being my first book by Jaye Peaches. I was intrigued by the blurb and love a bit of sci fi / aliens / erotica all rolled into one, so thought I would give this a try.
This is really well written with lots of thought having gone into the world and character building so as to understand the aliens and their planet and social system. I really enjoyed the way the two main characters ended up going full circle starting on Earth, going off planet and ending on Earth, with a whole new perspective of what was going on in the political side of things. Lots of intriguing characters, technologies and experiences offered in here!!
Paige (human) is a college student and ends up meeting Senator Jamen (alien) in an unusual, circumstance – being spanked in a club!! They end up meeting a few more times and he offers her a job as his assistant (which gets her out of working for the local slime-ball Councillor at the Town Hall where she was going to work) which entails working for him and also submitting to him as and when desired, with correctional behavior spanking in there also!!
Paige has a lot to learn as she is taken to his home-world and has to learn his language and everything about his world and culture, whilst at the same time coming to term with her growing feelings for Jamen and their ‘out of this world’ sexual attraction and chemistry.
What surprised me about this book is that it is just that, a full length book, not a novella, as most of these tend to be. There has been a lot of thought gone into this and the world building for a full length novel to work and still be interesting – so well done Jaye, I thoroughly enjoyed this and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to you, as long as you’re into this type of thing!!

This was the third book in the under Alien Law series, but it could very easily be read as a stand-alone. The premise of this novel is very creative – the heroine Paige becomes the first human hanjin (a combination right hand assistant/lover) on Halos, the home planet of the Vendu that conquered Earth. She met the Senator during his tour of Earth’s major cities, and, after a date and some unwelcome external interference, ended up accompanying Jamen back to his home planet. I really liked that the Senator made adjustments for the cultural differences, rather than merely expecting Paige to change. The heroine is intelligent and brave, as well as comfortable with her submissive nature, while the hero is strong and surprisingly open minded compared to other Vendu. The cast of supporting characters is rich and entertaining, with both friends and foes, and the discipline and sex scenes are super steamy. I love books by Jaye Peaches and look forward to the next one.

This is the third book in the under Alien Law series, but it can be read as a stand alone.
I really enjoyed this book. Paige was a wonderful characters, she was easy to like and I loved how she reacted to all the new experiences and her doubts and feelings.
Jamen was stuck in his ways , but Paige definitely has an influence on him and i loved how supported he was to what she wanted.
And can i have some of the Alien technology. That was pretty well thought out.

This author is new to me and I absolutely adore her writing. The characters are well written and developed. Jamen and Paige have off the charts sexual chemistry. Jamen offers Paige the chance to be his aide and hanjin/sexual partner. They go a journey together to explore their relationship and feelings for each other. On a side note can I some of that alien technology?!

Great story. There is not any nonconsensual in this story. Jamen (Vendu) meets and wants Paige (human). He offers her a position as his aide and his hanjin (sexual partner) that she accepts. The journey they take together is wonderful and a learning experience on both sides. I love how they handled Nillson. Wonderful world building and characters.

Chosen by the Senator is another captivating read by Jaye Peaches. Jamen and Paige are strong, endearing characters that make you turn page after page until they get their hea. I would definitely recommend this book.

Senator Jamen Hosta, an envoy for Halos visiting Earth on a diplomatic assignment, he was gathering information first-hand and up until that night had not seen anything or anyone that really drew his attention until he Nillson his guide and a somewhat odious individual had taken him ti a place called the Bow and Tie.
It appeared to all a purpose as a dingy, poorly lit establishment that held a gathering of mainly young awoken his him into a room where a young woman was being disciplined by Mistress Marie, he was shocked to feel himself drawn to the lovely female, however he soon left and never expected to meet her again.
Senator Jamen attends Nillsons Campus as a special envoy to give a speech to the students and is shocked to see the same young woman from the night before, he can hardly wait to speak with her and as he waits to catch her attention he feels his interest unfurling almost like a sleeping tiger readying to pounce on its prey.
Paige is shocked that Jamen even remembers her never mind that he actually desires to walk her home so it enables him to discover more about this woman that has libido, she is as drawn to him and they arrange to have dinner together and talk about anything and everything.
Paige is hiding something he can detect it through her hesitant and withdrawn attitude and is not surprised to discover that it is Nillson, he has threatened Paige and her studies, Jamen will not allow this blackmail and enquires if she would consider returning to Halos with him and serving as his “Hanjns”.
Their time together is seeming to fly by and their relationship fits each of the it is a D/s lifestyle and as she relaxes and becomes more accomplished at the Vendu language and lifestyle she finds the thought of her ever having to leave Jamen unthinkable, love has snuck up on her and she didn’t even see it coming. Jamen however is a very different matter the way in which they live their life is so very different to a typical human, they do not even necessary stay with the mother of their children sometime having two or three separate females. Paige is not sure she could live her life like this and share Jamen, she is not sure of anything any more except that she has hound the love of her life, a dominant alien on a planet light year’s away from Earth, who would ever have thought it??
This was a wonderful third book in the series, the plot was entirely different as was the characters and the writing were as always excellent and the plot and the dynamics were well thought out and left me wanting more. Once I started reading this wonderful story I was not able to pout the book down, another late night however worth every single minute!!!
I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
